Student Support
The Student Support Services Division of the Office of Online Learning uses a student-centered approach to education that includes, supports, engages, and gives online students access to relevant university resources. Through collaboration, community building, and communication, our goal is to inform and connect students with campus resources that support the progression, retention, and overall success of UGA online and distance learners.
A Three-fold Process to Achieving these Goals:
- Online Student Services Coordination
- Online Student Orientation Management
- State Authorization Compliance Management
Methods to Accomplish the State Authorization Goals:
- Build alliances with student affairs, colleges, and various campus units
- Develop and maintain an Online Student Orientation
- Manage and maintain state authorization compliance, UGA’s membership with the National Council for State Authorization Reciprocity Agreements (NC-SARA), and by completing annual NC-SARA Enrollment Data and Out-of-State Learning Placement Reports
